Forgotten Guys

These poor, intersting creatures were supposed to appear in the original version of Mother 3, EarthBound 64 for the N64 DD. However, that never came to be. These are just a few of the enemies that didn't make it in once the game was remade on the GBA. There are probably many more, these are just all that I could find. What their names and original purposes were, we may never know. I do have some some ideas though:

(bottom right)Crocodile: Was probably an enemy in some early swamp area.

(botton right, next to croc)Mamal: An odd mamal. It could have been a friendly forest creature or an enemy.

(bottom left)Giant Hermit Crab: Shown roaming in a savana area in a screenshot with the Flying Fishosaur. Was probably an enemy near a body of water.

(center)Wild Boar: Was a forest enemy that appearntly could be fought on it's own, and accompanied the Purple Drago(?).

(right)Purple Drago(?): A forest enemy. Possibly a boss or side boss. Was shown roaming in a  forest and accompanied in battle by two Wild Boar.

(left)Two Headed Lake Monster/Kraken: Was shown in an early concept art and some screen shots. They depicted it in a large lake or lagoon. It was also shown lifting up Lucas by his shirt while he acts terrified. It was probably an enemy, but it could have also served as friendly creature due to it's (sort of) similar appearance to Tessie from EarthBound.

(standing on Lake Monster)Swamp Walk/Blue Guy: Was shown in an early concept art and a model screenshot. Was probably an enemy in some early swamp area.

(on Lake Monster's neck)Hade Hebi the Snake: Was shown and named in a article along with the Shipopo. Appearantly climbed in the Baobabu trees and shook it's tail like a rattlesnake. Was probably an enemy in an early swamp area.

(in the back)Forest Monster: A large, dinosaur like creature shown in a screenshot of a forest area. Was probably an enemy.

(behind Forest Monster)Shipopo: Was shown and named in an article along with Hade Hebi. Was probably a form of transportion in the water.

(top)Flying Fishosaur: Shown roaming in a savana area in a screenshot with the Giant Hermit Crab. Was probably an enemy near a body of water.
